Last updated: September 27, 2026
These terms govern your use of the D2 Editor app ("the app"), made by Dreammobo Limited ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Using the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, in line with these terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from (the Apple App Store or Google Play).
2. Your diagrams
You own everything you create with the app. We claim no rights over your diagrams, and you may use them for any purpose, including commercial work. You are responsible for the content you create and for keeping your own backups.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the app to break any law or infringe anyone's rights;
- copy, resell or redistribute the app itself, except as allowed by the open-source licenses of its components;
- interfere with the app's normal operation or its security.
4. Open-source software
D2 Editor uses the open-source D2 diagram engine by Terrastruct, Inc., licensed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. Its source code is available at github.com/terrastruct/d2.
5. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or that diagrams will render exactly as intended.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
7. Changes and termination
We may update the app and these terms from time to time. If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
